okay..

I'd like permission to throw a celebratory Ball in the name of the Imperial Dominion in the city of Rome for all of NationStates to attend as they see fit. The men and women of the Imperial Dominion would receive main invitations and NS RPers will receive secondary ones. The Ball would not only serve to see everyone's capabilities in live-action RP but also get the name "Imperial Dominion" around the NS forums. What do you think?

That sound very interesting.. i really like it, it will show the Rpers, i cant wait to act like a Klingon if we do it!!! i will pass it to the emperor

think that the military should be able to post their rank in their signatures. We should all use the same type of picture, so i am posting where you can get rank pictures that arent too big.

Who says it has to be based on the US military, some other countries have some cool insignia aswell (cough cough the UK!!!! ), or we could even design our own for the military, I may be able to do it and then email it to our supreme emperor. Just a suggestion. Bongu Bongu

Send it to the Defense Minister instead, as he's the one who's going to figure out who gets what rank anyway.

Ok, Im very sorry but however hard I have tried they have all turned out rubbish, i only have microsoft paint to do them on and its not going well, we may have to use preexisting ones I think. Once again, sorry, bongu bongu

Instead of starting from scratch, use a pre-exsiting image and just edit it to make it unique. A free program I would recommend to edit images is called The Gimp.

I used to have a program on my old comp that was kinda free version of Photoshop minus a lot of editing options. Can't remember the name at the moment, though. I'll let you know if I do.

Right Ive had another go and its going ok now, using a combination of US and UK ranks, however I want your input on one thing that we can put on them to make them Imperial Dominion ranks instead of real ranks combined to make a new slide, Im thinking the eagle off the flag? On a different topic here, Should people other than the the lords of parliament have a vote?
I was thinking of mainly the prime minister and the UN delegate, as both are elected officials,
and represent the forum.

Also, I know the Emperor has official veto power, but in the event of a tie in a parliamentary or
electoral college vote, who is the tiebreaker?

BTW... I think the rank symbols and ribbons are a great idea

The Electoral College is for everyone to vote on elections, and in the event of a tie between people, then it will go to just Parliament.

For matters in Parliament/Supreme Court, the Prime Minister has the power of tie-breaker.

Should there be a retirement/resignation thread in the barracks or the ministry of defense?

It would just allow any resignations to be noticed and acknowledged faster.

I'm honestly not trying to clutter up the suggestion box, seriously.

I was thinking that perhaps somewhere in the forums, we should encourage (read:mandate, enforce, require, force) all members to endorse the UN delegate, just as a reminder. It is mentioned in the region, but for some reason, there are over 100 members, but less than 30 endorsements

Not everyone is a UN member, and of those that are, a lot barely ever log in anyway.
